The Millennium Manual Model WMD25W Dehumidifier from WC Wood will remove as many as 25 pints of water every 24 hours in an 800 square foot area. The WMDE25W is recommended for higher humidity areas and will easily keep mildew and moisture from forming on stored items in a basement, on tiles and grout in a bathroom or a laundry room.

Place your WC Wood dehumidifier in an enclosed area where the moisture content is high during the summer. When the humidity is at its highest the moisture builds up and accumulates in the wall linings, framing, roofs and furnishings.

The collection bucket is located near the front of the WMD25W dehumidifier for easy access.  The bucket slides forward and is easy to access and pour out. Your W.C. Wood’s WMD25W has an indicator light that will turn on when the bucket is full and it is time for emptying. Place your WC Wood 25 pint dehumidifier in an enclosed space for optimal results.  Make sure you shut all doors and windows and additional outside openings to the room where you have placed the dehumidifier. Place your unit in an open area where there will be no restrictions to air flow.

Allow at least one foot of air space on all sides of your dehumidifier.  A dehumidifier placed in a basement is worthless if you expect it to dry an adjacent enclosed storage area such as a closet unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.

It may be necessary to purchase another dehumidifier if you are trying to remove the moisture out of the air from adjacent rooms. Dehumidifiers are not designed to remove moisture from the air through walls.

The water can be collected in the front mounted water reservoir or can be routed to a floor drain via a garden hose connection at the base of the water reservoir. It can also be placed directly over a floor drain. Before connecting a garden hose (not supplied) or positioning the unit directly over a floor drain, it is necessary to remove the plastic blocking disc at the base of the threaded connector. This can be done with a drill and 5/8” bit.
